TinyCloud and Aqua Protocol are joining Oz City (November 1-16, Patagonia) as part of the Sovereign Core initiative—bringing together builders who are creating the infrastructure necessary for human agency in an AI-powered future.
Join the Sovereignty focused Oz City Residency!
We are a group of sovereignty focused individuals who are coming together to bring this dream one step closer to reality. We’re looking for motivated, sovereignty focused individuals to join us in building a sovereign stack with verifiable data, adopting new shared standards along the way. We’re coming together in Oz City, a residency of the larger Edge City ecosystem, in San Martin de Los Andes from November 1st to November 16th to build together, learn from one another, and investigate what’s necessary for individuals to project power into the digital space, and claim ownership of digital territory.
Why Oz City? Oz City represents an excellent in person environment for in person collaboration in a focused and expansive environment. Oz City is an in person residency with shared venues where we can work on our individual projects, share lightning talks, and come together for an open and collaborative exchange of ideas about the sovereign stack.
Together at Oz we’re investigating a critical question: How do we collaborate more effectively to build infrastructure that ensures self-determination and agency in the age of AI?
What we’re building:
TinyCloud is personal data sovereignty infrastructure for individuals who want to have true ownership of data, with control over where that data lives, and using an object-capability model to delegate who can access that data in a granular way.
Aqua Protocol enables cryptographic data signing, tamper-proof verification, and immutable timestamping. Enterprise-grade security meets decentralized convenience, Aqua protocols verifiable data structures work with or without a blockchain, ensuring data integrity and provenance without blockchain dependencies or compromising privacy.
The Shared Vision We believe the future should be open, auditable, and focused on giving individuals control of their digital territory and identity. We envision a world where data lives under individual control, and applications look more like operations on user controlled data-preserving privacy and granting end users new capabilities with their digital counterparts.
We believe that where Identity, Verified Data, and Access Control mechanisms come together, the overlapping pieces form the necessary infrastructure for individuals to claim digital territory and resolve their digital identities into something truly powerful. At Oz City we’re examining what’s necessary for individuals to maintain a greater degree of self-determination and autonomy with their digital identities.
Join us in Patagonia
From November 1-16 in San Martín de los Andes, we’re gathering with Oz City for focused collaboration. We’ll host talks, discussions, but also make lots of space for and hands-on building sessions exploring what sovereignty means both online and offline.
This is for you if:
- You’re building in privacy, identity, verifiable data, or access control
- You believe individuals should be able to project power into the digital world through cohesive self-representations they control
- You want to collaborate on privacy-preserving technologies that expand individual capabilities
